📱 What is Mirror?

Mirror is a Progressive Web App (PWA) - a web application that can be installed on your device and works offline - that turns your device's camera into a digital mirror. It runs entirely in your web browser with no server-side processing.

🤝 Agreement

By using Mirror, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. It's that simple.

✅ Acceptable Use

Mirror is designed for personal use as a digital mirror. You may:

• Use it to check your appearance
• Use it for personal grooming
• Install it on multiple devices
• Use it offline
• Share it with friends

Don't Do This:

• Use it for illegal activities
• Try to hack or reverse engineer it maliciously
• Claim it as your own work
• Use it to spy on others (it doesn't even have that capability)

🚫 Disclaimers and No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, FORMENTIA LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• That defects will be corrected
• That the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content

You acknowledge that Mirror is a free service provided for convenience. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FORMENTIA LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
• Any damages related to third-party conduct or content
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your transmissions or content

IN NO EVENT SHALL FORMENTIA LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50), REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY UPON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

⚖️ Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Formentia LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your violation of any applicable laws

🔒 Privacy

Your privacy is absolute. See our Privacy Policy for details. The short version:

• No data collection
• No tracking
• No servers
• Everything stays on your device

📝 Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we do:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date below
• Major changes will be clearly noted
• Continued use means you accept the new terms

But honestly, we don't expect to change much. It's a simple mirror app!

🌍 Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration Agreement

You and Formentia LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek equitable relief in court for infringement of intellectual property rights.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration or legal proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entire arbitration agreement shall be null and void.

Small Claims Exception

Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the action is within that court's jurisdiction and is pending only in that court.
