📷 Camera Usage

Mirror requires camera access to function as a mirror. Here's our commitment:

• Camera feed is processed entirely on your device
• No images or videos are ever captured, stored, or transmitted
• No facial recognition or biometric data collection
• Camera permission can be revoked at any time in your browser settings or device application settings

🔒 Data We DON'T Collect

To be absolutely clear, Mirror does NOT collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone, etc.)
• Usage analytics or statistics
• Device information or identifiers
• Location data
• Cookies or tracking pixels
• Any form of user behavior data
• Error logs or crash reports

💾 Local Storage

Mirror uses minimal browser local storage only for:

• Remembering your brightness preference
• Storing your zoom level preference
• Progressive Web App (PWA) installation status

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared anytime by clearing your browser data.

🌐 Third-Party Services

Mirror uses minimal third-party services:

• No analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No social media integrations
• No external APIs for app functionality

Ko-fi Donation Widget

Mirror includes an optional donation button powered by Ko-fi. This widget loads a small script from storage.ko-fi.com to display the support button. Ko-fi may set its own cookies if you interact with it. We do not receive any personal information through this widget. You can review Ko-fi's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

📡 Network Activity

Mirror's core functionality requires NO network connection after initial page load:

• Works completely offline as a Progressive Web App (PWA)
• Camera processing is entirely local with no server communication
• No background network requests for app features
• No update checks that transmit user data

The only external network request is loading the Ko-fi donation widget script, which is optional and does not affect app functionality.

🔐 Security

Your privacy is protected by design:

• All processing happens in your browser
• No server infrastructure to hack
• No databases storing user information
• Open source for full transparency

👶 Children's Privacy

Mirror is safe for users of all ages because:

• We don't collect any data from anyone
• No account creation or sign-up required
• No social features or communication
• No age verification needed (we don't know who you are)
